This committee aims to provide opportunities for members to enjoy and participate in as many of the visual and performing arts as possible. Drama, dance, literature, painting and drawing, photography, creative writing and music are all within our remit.

Each year we endeavour to hold workshops, with expert tutors, covering this wide range of subjects. Art appreciation days, exhibitions and outings are also arranged periodically. Creative writing is encouraged by our Writing Group and by way of competitions, with the winning entries appearing in the Gazette. We like to take events to different parts of the County, in order to encourage as many members as possible to take part.
Our aim is to widen your horizons. To this end we are always pleased to receive suggestions for our future programme, as well as names of recommended tutors and venues. Please let the Chairman of Combined Arts, through the Federation Office, have any ideas you feel the committee can consider.
