HOME ECONOMICS SUB-COMMITTEE

Under the umbrella heading of Home Economics this committee covers crafts, produce and horticultural subjects.  Its role is to provide opportunities for members to explore and enjoy all sorts of leisure interests and pursuits to whatever depth they wish.  This can be from just a general interest in trying something new and different to the achievement of an accredited National WI Certificate with City and Guilds recognition.  Topics can include cookery, preservation, sugar craft, gardening, interior design, upholstery and every imaginable craft.  Classes can be just for a day or run as a course over several days.  Requests from members are welcomed.
