A WI Co-operative Competition
This type of competition has a general theme and the exhibits each have a title within that theme.
A group of members work together on an exhibit and provide a given number of items to be judged, each according to its class – ie. Canvas work and tatting as Crafts, bread and cakes as Cookery, jams and bottled fruit as Preserves, etc.
In addition, marks are awarded for staging and interpretation of the chosen title.
The winning exhibit is that with the highest total number of marks.
