It's easier than ever to keep right up to date with our latest news and events by following the NFWI across a variety of new media online outlets. There's now an NFWI presence on social networking sites TWITTER and FACEBOOK and NFWI Chair Ruth Bond has started her own blog chronicling her many duties undertaken on behalf of the WI and related areas of interest to members.
The WI website continues to be very popular and the WI intranet - the WI Moodle - has really taken off, so it shows our members are embracing technology. We won't be abandoning traditional ways of communicating - we'll just be adding to them.
Ruth Bond agrees that "Being able to update members instantly on the events I'm attending in their name, or on the latest campaign developments, is so important. I hope members will embrace technology and follow our progress in every way they can".
After debate and discussion the new WI logo is being launched and becomes active at NFWI level on 1st.January,2010.
